Festival of Lights

My Diwali night near the Arctic Circle.

Greetings to all on the occasion of Diwali, the Hindu Festival of Lights. Fittingly, I got to experience quite a show last night in cold, icy Mývatn in north Iceland.

The Celestial dance over Lake Mývatn is a fabulous capture. We hope to be there next April, not the best of time to see the NL’s, but a fabulous place non the less.

    Happy DiwaliReplyCancel

    Incredible.

In a strange way, which I cannot explain, the one with the car is more powerful.

Maybe it’s the reference of the man-made to the ethereal which heightens the sense of mystery and isolation.ReplyCancel
