Dynjandi

Fjallfoss – known popularly as Dynjandi, meaning “thunderous” in Icelandic – is perhaps the most beautiful waterfall in Iceland and has been likened to a tiered wedding cake. It is located in the Westfjords region near Arnarfjörður. This photograph was taken tonight just before midnight here in Iceland.

Dettifoss

Dettifoss, located within Jökulsárgljúfur National Park in north Iceland, is said to be the most powerful waterfall in Europe. At 44 metres high, 100 metres wide, and a volume discharge that averages over 200 cubic metres/s, it is a tremendous sight.
